Zayden grew grumpy and said coldly, “Enough.”
Jaylen wanted to say more, but Tamara shook her head at him.
“Alright, Jaylen. It’s Edwin’s birthday today. Let’s go inside.”

In the private room, Elyse wanted to get a few guys to please them, but Lailah rejected it. So, Elyse had to put the thought aside.

Lailah said, “I’ve planned to divorce Zayden. I’d better be careful and not let them get the goods on me. I don’t want anything to go wrong.”

It was a call from Jamir.
She made a gesture at Elyse before getting out of the door to answer the call.
Jamir made the call to tell her that he wanted to establish a studio.

The contract he had signed with the agency would expire soon. Just as well Lailah meant to make a comeback. So, Jamir planned to open his own studio.
Lailah agreed immediately.
After hanging up the call, she went to the bathroom.
When she got out, she came across Tamara who was doing her makeup in front of the sink.
Lailah darted a glance at her and then looked away indifferently.
After she washed her hands and meant to leave, Tamara stopped her.
“Ms. Griffith.”
Lailah turned her head and looked at her. “What’s the matter?”
Tamara grinned and took a thing out of her purse.
“Look at this. What’s this?”
An amulet appeared in Tamara’s hand.
Lailah’s brows furrowed and she held her breath for an instant.
Tamara smiled, “Krish told me you prayed in a temple for a day and night and got this amulet for him while he was sick.”
Lailah replied with an indifferent look, “What are you trying to say?”
Tamara shook the amulet. “Krish said he got well after you gave him this amulet. So, he gave it to me, hoping that I could recover too.”
Krish got a high fever at three,
The doctors tried every means to bring down his fever but all failed.

Lailah knew that Myah liked fairy ladies. Likewise, she didn’t like Tamara either.
According to Zayden’s sister, it was also because of Myah that Zayden and Tamara broke up back then.
