Franklin frowned slightly, looking concerned, and was about to speak when something stopped him.
Della gave a soft smile and nestled closer to Franklin.

Franklin suddenly burst out laughing, fueled by frustration.
“She’s a convict. No one will welcome her anywhere she goes. Where can she even go?

“If that’s the case, then she better hide well. I’m curious how long she’ll manage. Eventually, she’ll have to come back.”
Della smiled sweetly and tenderly stroked Franklin’s chest.
“Franklin, don’t be upset. Chelsea has always been stubborn. It seems like she still hasn’t gotten over what happened that day.

Franklin’s furrowed brows softened, and he pulled her closer.
“If she were half as understanding as you, I’d consider myself very
cky.
“She’s a convict. She causes problems wherever she goes. Why can’t she be more considerate for my sake and Sean’s?”

Della told the servants to leave, and Franklin decided not to press further.
He didn’t believe I would leave for good and was certain I would return after hiding for a few days.

As he turned around, his eyes caught sight of the dusty documents on

He picked it up and opened it, his hand trembling uncontrollably.
It turned out to be a divorce paper with my signature already on it.
Along with that, there was a single sheet of letter paper with only a
few short lines written.
“Franklin, I already know the reality behind the jewelry competition. It was Sean who helped Della to swap my work.
“During the wedding, you promised to stay by my side forever.
