When I left the venue, my roommate was waiting for me outside the spaghetti restaurant.
Stacy was there too.
She was in a great mood today–Chad had confessed to her.
She was currently basking in the joy of dating her dream guy.
I walked over and interrupted her fantasy: “Stacy, that Valkyrie goddess who’s ranked number one–that’s you, isn’t it?”
Stacy froze for a moment: “What’s wrong?”
I didn’t feel like beating around the bush. I pulled out the photo and said coldly: “Did you think that because I’m usually busy and rarely pay attention to gaming events, I’d never find out?”
At that moment, Stacy’s face went completely white!
She tried to grab my phone.
I was ready for this and stepped back two paces, looking down at her.
Stacy said frantically: “No, Liv, I didn’t steal your photo on purpose. Who told you not to participate in these competitions? That face was just going to waste anyway, and I even helped you

win a goddess title. Do you know how many people are crazy about me? Since it’s come to this, why don’t we work together?”
I looked at her shameless expression and frowned: “Work together?”
“Yes!” Stacy gradually calmed down and looked at me condescendingly, “You work with me–you help me take photos, and I’ll handle the publicity. We’ll tell everyone these photos are mine, and when I win prize money and stuff, we’ll split it fifty–fifty. How about it?”
Listening to her ridiculous proposal, I couldn’t take it anymore: “You’re absolutely insane.”
But Stacy just sneered: “You’re just relying on your pretty face, aren’t you? When it comes to popularity, I’m way ahead of you. Someone like you who prides herself on her beauty can’t bring herself to do what it takes to gain followers. There’s a ready–made path right in front of you, and you don’t want it?”
I laughed coldly: “Yeah, you have more fans. Save that speech for them.”
“What do you mean? You’re going to expose me? No way, Liv! Do you know how much effort I put into building my current popularity?!”
As she spoke, she lunged forward trying to grab my phone.

Just then, an angry voice shouted from behind us: “It’s you! You’re Valkyrie! Why did you use Liv’s photos to deceive me?!”
We both turned around to see Chad approaching like an enraged lion, his face thunderous with anger.
