Waking to the smell of disinfectant, Vivian saw the jacket covering her and felt a great sense of triumph.[]
The Martinez‘ butler came in. She asked, “Where’s Ethan? Why don’t I see him?“[]
The butler rolled his eyes. “The Young Master has gone to the airport. He said he was going to see off the most important person in his life.“[]
“Most important?” Vivian was baffled. “Isn’t that me? I’m lying right here. Why isn’t Ethan staying with me?“]
“You truly are both shameless and confident.“[]
“Butler, do you want to be fired? How dare you speak to me like that?”
The Martinez‘ butler looked at his watch and said, “It’s about time. The master instructed me that I must return you to the orphanage. Also, the Young Master feels the same way.“]]
“What?!” Vivian sat up in bed. “Impossible! That’s impossible!“]

My dad’s men filmed Vivian’s unsightly display of crying and struggling.
Watching Vivian grip the orphanage’s iron fence with both hands, watching her stare as the Martinez‘ car drove away, watching her collapse in helpless despair, my mood improved slightly.
“Serena, I finally found you. Here is the pineapple cake and pandan layer cake you like, and some medicine.“]

“Serena, I was wrong in the past! Please give me another chance! I’ve realized I can’t lose you!“]

I just glanced back at him coldly before continuing on my way under the escort of the bodyguards.[]
Ethan looked as though he had been struck hard by a hammer.]

He roared, struggling to break free from the bodyguards and running in the direction I had left.[]
But he didn’t get more than a few steps before being firmly restrained.]]
As the plane flew off into the distant sky, Ethan stared blankly, from dawn until dusk.[]
“Ethan, what are you doing standing here in a daze!” Mrs. Martinez was worried sick.
Mr. Martinez took off his own coat and draped it over Ethan’s shoulders.[]
