I was stunned.
It took me ten minutes to clarify two things:
I had posted random stuff again, but this time I sent it to Jake Rivers.
Jake Rivers… likes me.
Wait, no no no.
How could he possibly like me? Must be those undercooked mushrooms from yesterday.
Thinking of it that way made much more sense.
To mock Jake Rivers, I immediately called him:
“Little fish, little fish?”
Him: “…Awake?”
I yawned: “If I wasn’t awake, I’d miss someone’s poetry.”
“We’re recording day after tomorrow. Have you packed? It’s cold there, bring more warm clothes.”
“See you tomorrow.”
Even while saying caring things, I could feel the anger and murderous intent in Jake Rivers’ voice.
He was warning me.
Regarding Jake’s silly poem, fans automatically created a closed-loop story:
“Because Servant Girl is joining the show, Grant got upset and deliberately fought with Jake, making Jake misunderstand that he’s Grant’s backup plan, so he posted that jealous poem.”
Basically, I’m the bad guy, and they have the sweet romance.
I gain haters, they gain relationship fans.
My manager commented sarcastically:
“This world is just one big Rivers & Young roleplay, and you’re just a piece of it… WHAT THE HELL!”
Halfway through, she suddenly screamed:
“What is Grant Young doing?! Aaahhh! Is he insane?!”
I took her phone: “What happened?”
Looking closely, I saw that Grant Young had liked a comment:
“As a neutral observer, I don’t understand why everyone has so much hatred for Fiona? She seems nice in the behind-the-scenes clips…
Does anyone in the industry know what she’s really like?
