A weak explanation.

Before bed that night, I questioned things for the first time.
I opened my phone and messaged Jake Rivers:
“So are you and Grant Young really a thing?”

Jake replied instantly:

I felt a bit hurt: “What’s wrong with a dad caring about his son?”

He didn’t reply, and I went to sleep peacefully.
Little did I know that when I woke up, my world would collapse again.
Last night, Grant Young updated his social media with a photo of us together.
It was a private photo from when we finished filming the drama.
He tagged me with the caption: “Don’t misunderstand, little cream puff has a great relationship with us. She and Jake often have dinner alone~”

It was a nickname fans gave me when I first became popular, but coming from Grant Young, it just felt disgusting.
But fans thought I was the disgusting one.
“Highlight: DINNER ALONE! Draw your own conclusions.”
“Hope you die, slut.”
“Really feel bad for Grant, being attacked by Fiona’s fans for two days, yet he still posts to defend her.”
“Is this a public apology? I bet Fiona slept with some investor and put pressure on Grant and Jake.”

Holding back the urge to curse, I opened Jake’s chat:
“I don’t care if you and Grant are real or not, I’m going to KILL that SOB!”

Jake instantly replied:

Then he transferred $50,000 to me.
He added:
