Chapter 4
Dylan was in Tristan’s arms.
He was little, but his pronunciation was clear.
“Dad, where is Mom? You said Mom would be here. Why don’t we see her?”
Then, he insisted on Tristan putting him down.
Dylan drew everyone’s attention. A bodyguard walked behind him, afraid of him falling.
Right then, Joselyn walked over with a tray of cupcakes.
“I love children. Come to me. Would you like some cupcakes?”
She grinned. But Dylan frowned and slapped the tray away.
“Go away. Your smile looks evil. My mom taught me not to accept food from strangers. And you don’t look like a good person. Stay away from me. I want Mom!
“My mom said she would come to your wedding. You are the bride, right? Did you see a beautiful gentle woman?”
Joselyn’s hand holding the tray froze in the air. She was angry about Dylan’s sneer, but she didn’t dare to put it on him. After all, Tristan was present.
“Your mom didn’t come. Everyone invited is here. Do you see your mom?”
Hearing that, everyone began whispering.
“What? Tristan’s wife is here? She finally decided to show her face?”
“Who on earth is Tristan’s wife? No one here looks good enough for him.”
“Cecelia said he was Tristan’s wife in front of us. It turns out the real wife is here. She must see Cecelia as a joke. How embarrassing!”
I didn’t expect some people would still believe strongly that I was an imposter.
Darrell walked to Tristan with a smile.
“Tristan, you finally came. It’s been years. I’ve missed you so much. But why didn’t your wife come with you?”
Tristan cast Darrell an indifferent glance and responded in a level voice, “I had something to deal with, so I didn’t come back with her. She came back 3 days earlier than me. She said she would go to you. Didn’t she?”
A hint of surprise crossed Darrell’s face.
“No. She didn’t come to me.”
Dylan began crying for not seeing me.
“I want Mom. It’s been 3 days since I saw Mom. Where did you get my mom“?”
Joselyn walked to her again with a gentle smile.
“Sweetie, your mom should be delayed by something and coming soon. We have a bad woman who pretends to be your mom. Would you like to
meet her?”
A hesitant look flickered across Dylan’s face. Joselyn smirked.
“That person is awful. She was wearing a ring that looked like the one your dad gave your mom as a token of their love. And she even tried to

ruin my wedding. But don’t worry, I’ve punished her for you and your mom!”
A social climber agreed, “Right. Mr. Tristan, you don’t know how arrogant that woman was. Although she knew you were coming soon, she claimed to be your wife. But we know that ring is fake.”
Darrell walked closer to Tristan.
“Tristan, no worries. I’ve punished her severely. I broke her finger and
threw away her ring. I won’t let anyone get away with posing as your wife.”
