Chapter 6 Exposing Their Affair at the Wedding
When I woke up again, I was already lying on the operating table. The doctor’s voice was cold. “The baby is gone. We’ll proceed with the uterine evacuation now. Ms. Brook, please be mentally prepared.”
After the procedure. I called him. He said he was busy with an important business deal.
Disheartened, I insisted on seeing him.
When he finally stormed into the hospital, he showed no concern on his face. I could only see disgust. “Savannah, what’s the fuss about?”
I was about to tell him that I lost our baby. Yet I swallowed my words.
I looked at his still–handsome face. It used to be full of tenderness, yet not
anymore.
“Why are you looking at me like that? What kind of surgery are you talking about? Tell me!”
Having just undergone the operation, my belly felt like it was being torn apart. I could hardly bear the pain.
Faced with his accusations, I thought of Alena’s words.
My heart had died. I no longer wanted to explain anything.
All I had in my heart was hatred.
I had long agreed to break off the engagement. Whoever he wanted to be with was his choice. I couldn’t stop him.

Chapter a Espening
But he was the one who forced me to stay, swearing he would never see Alena again.
If I had walked away then, I wouldn’t have gotten pregnant.
The baby was innocent.
I clenched the bedsheet tightly, unable to stop the tears streaming down. my face.
When he saw how pale I was and noticed that my forehead was drenched in cold sweat, he finally realized something was wrong.
“Vannah, what’s wrong? Are you feeling unwell?”
Before. I would have argued with him. Yet I didn’t even feel like talking
now.
Why did he and Alena keep torturing me like this?
Why did my innocent child have to be part of their twisted game?
It was true that love bred sorrow and fear.
I had to make them pay! I would take revenge for my unborn baby.
I was in the Brook family’s private hospital. If Alena dared to act so recklessly, she must have arranged everything in advance.
Even if I revealed the truth, she would have prepared “evidence” to discredit me.
If Kaleb were willing to believe me, he could easily uncover the truth, but his heart belonged to Alena now.
Alena knew he wouldn’t dig deeper and would only listen to her side of
the story. That was why she dared to keep attacking me.
I had already experienced her tactics far too many times.
This time. I wouldn’t be foolish again.
I knew she was doing all of this to force me to give up the engagement. She wanted to take my place.
But I wouldn’t let her.
I swallowed my grief and kept the truth about my child to myself.
It was not yet time to reveal it. I had to wait until everyone had realized what kind of person Alena really was.
Otherwise, it would end up just like before.
Seeing me cry uncontrollably, Kaleb finally panicked.
“Stop crying. Are you upset that I didn’t come to visit you? I’ve been busy preparing for a major project.”
So, despite his attachment to Alena, he still couldn’t let go of our years of relationship.
“Kaleb, I had a dream… In it, you didn’t love me anymore. I was so scared.”
“Silly, don’t overthink. How could I not love you?”
Alena had thought I would use this opportunity to make a scene with Kaleb. In that case, the two of us wouldn’t hold the wedding.
She deliberately arrived at the perfect moment, expecting to see me humiliated, only to catch the sight of Kaleb holding me tightly in his

arms. Her face turned pale.
From that day forward. I changed. I made up my mind to gather evidence of Kaleb and Alena’s affair.
No matter how hard Alena tried, the most she had managed was stealing kisses from Kaleb. She got nothing more than those.
But that was enough for Alena to mock me. She often sent me photos and chat records and then withdrew them after I read them.
Little did she know, I had saved everything. I now had every screenshot and recording that she sent to me.
I was preparing for a grand show. It had to be at our wedding. I would. expose everything about her and Kaleb.
