Chapter 3
Dylan’s handsome face was tense. He tapped the screen and used an App to find Alana’s real–time location, and quickly turned the car around.
“I can’t go to the party now. Lana has been kidnapped. I have to go save her.”
Dylan drove very fast, running through more than a dozen red lights.
Twenty minutes later, Dylan confirmed that Alana was in the black car in front of him, and he stepped on the gas.
Bang!
The black car’s rear end was instantly smashed!
At the same time, the co–driver’s seat of the Bentley was rammed by another accomplice who kidnapped Alana!
Carolyn couldn’t dodge. Her head was instantly hit and bled!
Bright red blood slid down her forehead to her face. The heavy pain wast like thousands of needles stabbing her heart, making her unable to speak for a long time.
The co–driver seat experienced such a serious collision, but Dylan didn’t even glance at Carolyn. He stared at Alana in the black car.
After three consecutive collisions, the black car was forced to stop, and the people inside quickly escaped into the car of their accomplice.
Dylan opened the car door, picked up Alana in the back seat, and for the first time, his eyes showed a nervous expression. “Are you scared? Are you hurt anywhere?”

Alana looked at Dylan, tears welling up in her eyes, and she said with at trembling voice, “They were my dad’s business enemies. They just slapped me. It was no big deal.”
Her expression made Dylan’s heart ache, and he shouted, “No big deal? Even though you’ve been abroad these years, you’re always protected by me. You never experienced this kind of thing! And the baby. If the baby. has an accident, what can we do?”
“It’s all your fault for coming so late! I’m so scared…”
“Don’t be afraid. It was my fault. I’ll take you for a check–up now.”
Dylan held Alana and put her in the back seat. He only took five minutes to get to the hospital and then carried Alana to the emergency room.
He didn’t notice anything else. Carolyn was still in the co–driver seat with red eyes. The blood on her head was terrifying.
Carolyn watched the two people leave.
She raised her head and didn’t let the tears flow out. She endured the pain and pushed the car door open, staggering towards the hospital entrance.
In the evening rain, Carolyn didn’t use her hand to block the rain, letting the rain soak her wound.
The nurse at the registration desk saw Carolyn and was shocked. The nurse quickly treated her wound and then took her for a check–up.
An hour later, Carolyn finished the check–up and finally had time to pick up her phone.
The screen showed more than a dozen missed calls.
All were from Dylan.
She didn’t hesitate and turned off the phone directly.

Thinking she needed to stay up all night to do the infusion, Carolyn asked the nurse and got a ward.
In a daze, she recalled the past.
Since Dylan was injured, she attended many business dinners for Dylan.
Once at a dinner, two presidents from different companies disagreed with each other and started a fight. The whole table fell to the ground in an instant, and the broken bowl bounced and hit her wrist.
Dylan rushed over after hearing about it and immediately stopped the business with the two companies. He hurriedly sent Carolyn to the hospital to treat her wound.
Carolyn felt that it was not a big deal, but Dylan gently comforted her, “Carol, you are the most important woman in my heart. Besides giving birth to our baby, I don’t want to see any wounds on you.
“A girl can’t get any scars, then you can always look good.”
Now, Carolyn was bleeding, but Dylan ignored her for another woman.
He said he wouldn’t let her have any wounds, but now he let her take the risk of giving bone marrow to someone else.
He even secretly got married and had a child with someone else.
Before falling asleep, Carolyn saw Alana posting a new video on her Tik Tok channel “Lana Feels Happy“.
It was Dylan washing Alana’s feet to coax her to sleep.
Carolyn watched it a few times, feeling her chest stuffy, and couldn’t sleep all night.
The next morning, Carolyn reluctantly went home.
As soon as she entered the villa, the butler William seemed nervous.
“Mrs. Brassard, Mr. Brassard is waiting for you by the pool. He’s not in a good mood…”
Carolyn walked towards the pool, and from a distance, she saw Dylan coaxing Alana.
Alana was crying softly, and it made Dylan feel heartbroken.
When Dylan saw Carolyn finally come back. he couldn’t control his anger anymore. He said coldly. “Did you deliberately tell the enemies of Lana’s dad where she was?”
