Chapter 9
Dylan stood by the hospital bed and bent over to ask about Carolyn’s situation. He helped her sit up to drink water.
Dylan seemed to take care of Carolyn, but his words were biased towards. Alana.

“The maid sent you to the hospital and was caught by a paparazzi. Now they are waiting for you to explain.
“Carolyn, you can tell them that you accidentally fell and hit your head. The Ricard family will owe you a favor. You know, Alana is Soundless, and she saved my life before…”
Carolyn turned her back, pulling the blanket over her head.
She didn’t know if it was the physical pain or the emotional pain that made her curl up in the blanket and cry.
She remembered that her health condition was not good before. She often had fevers, and Dylan hired three private doctors to take turns to stay with her.
When she had menstrual cramps, Dylan would comfort her all day, only letting her stay in bed.
Now, he was totally changed.
Dylan noticed Carolyn sobbing on the hospital bed, his heart ached. When he was just about to comfort her, a nurse rushed in.

“Mr. Brassard, the girl who came with you this morning suddenly fainted. Do you want to go check her?”
Upon hearing that Alana fainted, Dylan didn’t care about Carolyn and turned to the hallway.
Soon, the ward was quiet again, leaving Carolyn alone.
Ten minutes later, Carolyn’s phone vibrated. It was a message from “Lana Feels Happy“.
“Even if you have thirty stitches on your head and go blind in your right eye, he will come to me immediately whenever I ask.”
“Carolyn, I disappeared for a few years. When I came back and said I wanted to have his child, he agreed right away. You see, how could he not love me?”
Not long after, Carolyn received another video from Alana.
Dylan was coaxing the teary Alana, his eyes red with pain, “Don’t blame yourself. I said I will always protect you.
“Carolyn just has a head injury, it’s not a big deal. She won’t tell anyone. that you hit her. You’re pregnant now. Take care of yourself and don’t worry about it.”
Carolyn watched the video, her fingers digging into her palm.
She forced herself to get up and left the hospital alone.
With only six hours left before departure, Carolyn went to the church and destroyed the wish note “Marry Dylan and be his wife” she wrote before.
The church was cold, and the two wish notes that Dylan had written before were blown to Carolyn.
Carolyn picked them up and glanced at them.
Chapter
The first wish note said, “Marry Carolyn in five years.”
The second wish note said, “As long as you come back, I will always choose you.”
Carolyn looked at the wish notes and sneered, “Congratulations, Dylan, your wish has come true.”
Soon, Carolyn returned to the villa.
Her phone kept vibrating. Alana kept massaging Carolyn to provoke her.
Carolyn only glanced at them, then sat at her desk, slowly wrote a farewell letter, and put in a photo of Soundless.
Then she picked up her suitcase and went downstairs.
Carolyn put the engagement ring that Dylan gave her in the hospital into a gray velvet box and handed it to William.
“When Dylan comes back, give this to him, and tell him that there is a letter for him on the desk.”
William saw Carolyn just taking off her engagement ring, and he seemed to guess something. He said with shock, “Mrs. Brassard, are you…”
“Thank you, William, for taking care of me over the years. I hope to see you again in the future.”
Carolyn waved her hand, dragged her suitcase, and took a taxi to the
airport.
