Chapter 9
“You bad woman! I gave that thing to Moira! Come after me if you have anything!”
Albert stood between me and Moira, protecting Moira. He seemed to believe that I would never do anything to him.
In the past
every time he led to trouble, I would not bring myself to punish him, thinking that he was still young. And I would always try to reason with him kindly.
But he thought that I was apushover, and he never changed.
Since that was the case, I would no longer try to reason with him.
This time, I gave Albert a hard slap.
“It’s my fault for not educating you well.
“But since I gave birth to you, I’ll be your mom for the rest of your life! And I won’t allow you to keep being so naughty and unreasonable here!”
Albert instantly burst into tears.
He cried, “You lied to me! You said your things were mine, and everything in the family would be mine in the future. Moira liked it so much. What’s wrong with me giving it to her?
“Dad, help me…”
He cried his eyes out.
But I didn’t soften my attitude.
I spanked him again and again.
“Enough!”
Caleb stepped forward, wanting to stop me.
But I wasn’t afraid of him and slapped him as well.
I cried, “I’ve already told you I won’t take anything with me after divorce. Now all I want is to get my own thing back! Why don’t you give it back to
me?
“Why? Why do you do this to me?”
I hated myself for not being able to keep the thing my dad left for me.
Caleb seemed to not understand why I suddenly became so emotional. He gave Moira a glance, urging her to quickly give that merit medal back to
- me.
However, Moira just shook her head in tears.
“I didn’t know it was a merit medal. I didn’t know it was such an important thing. Harry accidentally bit it, so I threw it away. I’m sorry. I didn’t know it…”
Moira’s words were like a terrible blow to me, making my head buzz.
Seeing this, Caleb felt a bit sorry for me.
He wanted to calm me down.
Unexpectedly, the next moment, I spat out a mouthful of blood, staining the luxurious floor.
“Fidelia? What happened to you, Fidelia? Don’t scare me!” Caleb panicked.

In a daze, I fell heavily to the ground.
At the same time. I seemed to see Caleb rushing toward me anxiously.
