looking gentle and beautiful.
“Gigi, you’re so pretty today,” Damion walked to her and smiled gently
“And you’re exceptionally handsome.” Feeling a bit shy, she turned around and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear.
After exchanging compliments, Damion–ever the gentleman–pulled open the car door for her. Staring at their retreating figures, Kaitlin sighed slightly, “If Gigi hadn’t married Fabian, she would have married. Damion. It’s such a shame–they look perfect for each other.”
Wesley said, “Enough of that. Gigi’s married now. Nothing will ever happen between them.”
Damion had organized the class reunion.
He used to be the president of the student council, and he was popular because of his good looks as well as his outstanding family background.
“Gigi, hi. Come and sit over here.”
Giselle was pretty and had a perfect academic performance, so she had always had a lot of admirers.
“Damion, you and Gigi will be studying in the same school after going abroad, right? That’s great!”
“Indeed. Damion, when are you gonna tell Gigi how you feel about her? Today seems great to me.”
The crowd teased.
“Order whatever you like, Gigi,” Damion smiled and handed over the
menu to her.
“The others can choose. I’ve been feeling sick lately and don’t have much of an appetite.” Giselle knew Damion’s feelings for her, and she found herself unworthy of being with him–he was so outstanding.
Damion said, “How about some soup then? It’ll be good for your stomach.”
“OK.”
“It’s your treat today, Damion. It’s not a party without wine. Tonight, no one leaves here sober!”
Since Giselle was pregnant, she had to stay away from alcohol. She had half a glass of juice and some vegetables, not interested in meat at all.
She drew Fabian’s attention this whole time. Noticing she was down, he wondered if she had had a row with Fabian.
The crowd went to a karaoke bar after eating. Giselle didn’t want to be in a noisy environment, so she planned on going to the mall for shopping. After all, she’d leave the country soon and wouldn’t be back for a long time.
Damion accompanied her because he was worried about her.
“Gigi, have you handled all the procedures for going abroad?” he asked. as they walked side by side.
She nodded. “Yes.”
“Gigi, they might be joking, but I’m not. I had been in love with you. way before you knew it.” His voice wasn’t exactly loud, but he said it
utterly sincerely.
“Damion, you know perfectly well that I’m married” Giselle couldn’t
help but feel a bit sad. She wished she had never met Fabian.
