Chapter 18 Don’t Enter My Room
“I was waiting for you. You came back so late and I couldn’t reach you. on the phone. I was worried something happened,” Tatiana said,
walking over to help him.
‘You’re a girl. It’s not right for you to stay here so late. You should go home. I’ll have the driver take you,” Fabian said. Even though he said _ he didn’t want to sleep in Giselle’s room, he still walked in there
unconsciously.
“No, you’re drunk. I’ll stay and take care of you,” Tatiana insisted, following him in and trying to undress him. But the maid stopped her.
“Ms. Wagner, let me handle it. You’re a girl. It’s not appropriate for you to stay here at night. Mr. and Mrs. Mercado aren’t divorced yet. They’re just having a fight. If word gets out, it’ll be bad for you too,” said the maid.
Tatiana curledherlips withdissatisfaction, but she could only nod.
“Giselle is right. As long as they aren’t divorced, I will always be the other woman. Even the maid looks down on me for that embarrassing status,” thought Tatiana.
“Ms. Wagner, you should go home. Mr. Mercado needs to rest,” the maid said again.
Tatiana had no choice but to leave.
Fabian slept until noon the next day. When he opened his eyes and saw Tatiana smiling at him, his head was splitting.

“Fabian, you’re awake. Does your head still hurt? I made you some hangover soup. Have it while it’s warm,” Tatiana said.
Fabian frowned. He threw off the covers and realized he was bare- chested, wearing only a pair of underwear.
It really wasn’t appropriate for Tatiana to be in his room.
“Tatiana, you should go out. And don’t enter my room in the future,”
he said.
“Sure thing. Have the soup first,” Tatiana still smiled gently.
“No need. I’m fine now,” Fabian said, looking at the dark soup appetite.

Giselle used to make him hangover soup when he got drunk. Hers was sweet and sour with a special fragrance, completely different from this
one.
“Fabian, Giselle said she wants a divorce. If you don’t love her, just let her go,” Tatiana said.
Fabian felt his head was about to explode. “Giselle told her we were getting a divorce?” he wondered.
“Tatiana, don’t worry about my business with Giselle,” he said.
Tatiana nodded obediently.
Downstairs, the chef prepared a sumptuous lunch.
It was cooked according to Giselle’s preferences.
Giselle liked vegetarian food and sweet–and–sour flavors, but Tatiana

didn’t.
“Sorry, Ms. Wagner. We didn’t know you’d be eating here. These are all Mrs. Mercado’s favorite dishes,” Adeline said with a smile.
Tatiana could tell Adeline favored Giselle. Adeline was polite, so Tatiana didn’t say much.
Hearing Giselle’s name made Fabian frown in displeasure.
Since the divorce papers hadn’t been processed yet, she probably wouldn’t come back to live here.
Giselle slept soundly until his call woke her. Then she couldn’t get back to sleep. She got up, grabbed her ID and marriage certificate, and put them in her bag. From now on, she’d have to carry them with her in case Fabian suddenly told her they were getting a divorce.
“It is Mom’s birthday the day after tomorrow. Will you come back with me for dinner?” Fabian called her.
She thought he was going to talk about divorce.
Madilyn’s birthday was in the same month as hers, so I remembered it clearly. She used to go back with Fabian every year, but not this year.
Giselle thought “The divorce papers are signed. Why bother going back for dinner? Madilyn never likes me anyway. Now with Tatiana around, Madilyn is probably just waiting for Fabian and me to split.“
