When the knocking

“Miss Aurora, I’ve left some fresh clothes for you at the door. Mr. Fairbank said you can rest here tonight, and we’ll be leaving. Kieran said.
Alright, thank him for me,” Aurora replied.
The sound outside quickly faded.
Aurora went to the bathroom door, where two shopping bags were placed on the floor. She opened them to find a pink long dress, probably worth tens of thousands, and a set of new underwear, surprisingly in her exact size.
Aurora blushed a little, opened the other bag, and found a pair of new sneakers.
She took these items back to the bathroom, changed out of her torn and ragged clothes, and threw away her dirty shoes, putting on the new ones
Heath was very considerate; the length of the skirt just covered the bruises on her legs, and the three–quarter sleeves arm. Only her face, slightly red and swollen, still looked unnatural.

Aurora left a note for Heath and left the hotel, taking a taxi directly from downstairs back to the Pendleton villa.
When she arrived home, it was already past ten, and the house was quiet. Aurora tiptoed upstairs, returned to her room, and crawled back into bed, ready to sleep.
Half asleep, her phone suddenly rang. Aurora groggily answered, “Hello…” Her voice was drowsy.
“Where are you?” The voice on the other end was chillingly cold.
“Who are you?” Aurora, interrupted from her sleep, was very displeased.
“Aurora, I’ll ask again, where are you?” The e man’s voice on the phone became increasingly irate.
Aurora finally opened her eyes, chased away her sleepiness, and suddenly realized.
“Heath?”
“Who else?”
“How did you get my number?” Aurora asked.
“Where are you? Heath asked again.
I’m at home. I left you a note,” Aurora said, thinking it wasn’t surprising that someone as capable as Heath could get her number.
With a “click,” the call was abruptly disconnected. Aurora was speechless. Couldn’t he say goodbye?
On the other end, Heath sat on the hotel sola, looking at I’ll treat you to dinner sometime. I’m going home now.”

The calm tone was nothing like the frightened look she had when he brought her back.
Heath was helpless, but understanding what was happening to him.
Worried that Aurora would be embarrassed, he prepared fresh clothes and then went to the branch office with Kieran.

Concerned that she might be scared alone in the hotel, he drove hack, reassuring himself that he was just seeing her through to the end, just coming back to check on her, and that everything was fine.
Discovering she wasn’t in the hotel, he thought she might be in danger again and frantically called her, only to find that she was already home,
asleep.
Today, he felt his emotions were out of control, yet the girl who influenced his emotions was just an 18–year–old high school student.
Heath went to the wine cabinet and poured himself a glass of red wine, looking out the floor–to–ceiling window at the bright lights, his face stunningly handsome, his back lonely.
He had been alone for too long, so when that sweet–smiling girl fell into his arms, it caught his eye.
Like a ray of light.
But with that, he still had much to do. He needed to keep the Fairbank family firmly in hand, find the goods stolen by the Whitmore family, and figure out where the infamous Olivia was.
It was already one o’clock in the morning, and Heath stood by the window for a long time until the phone rang. He answered, “Speak.”
“Heath, the goods have been retrieved, and our people have retreated unscathed. Two of the enemy’s snipers escaped, and the rest were wiped out, another male voice said on the other end.
“I know. Keep an eye on the goods and don’t let the news leak,” Heath said, hanging up the phone.
He swirled the red wine in his hand. Olivia, providing such accurate information, who exactly was she?
