Chapter 21
Little Fish, being a new servant, hadn’t been assigned a specific position yet. Aurora simply told Mr. Leen that she wanted Little Fish to take care of her daily needs, and he agreed.
Little Fish happily followed Aurora, chirping, “Miss Aurora, you’ve really lost a lot of weight.”
“Losing weight isn’t enough; I need to exercise more. My physical condition used to be terrible,” Aurora replied.
“Are you going to the gym outside, Miss Aurora?” Little Fish asked.
“No, I’ve signed up for one–on–one boxing training. That’s where I’m going,” Aurora said.
“Miss Aurora, you’ll look so cool once you learn it! Little Fish exclaimed.
Aurora smiled, and out of the corner
er of her eye, she saw Harris approaching. She quickly turned and pretended to retch against a tree.
Little Fish was frightened and asked urgently, “Miss Aurora, what’s wrong?”
Aurora clutched her stomach, giving Little Fish a knowing look, and snapped, “Why are you shouting? Do you want everyone to know?”
Little Fish immediately fell silent, supporting Aurora with one hand and patting her back with the other. “Miss Aurora, should we go to the hospital?”
“Let’s go… to the hospital tomorrow… I must fight, or else I’ll have no place in the Pendleton family…” Aurora said, choking back tears.
Harris saw everything and quietly ran to Madeline’s room to tell h her.
Madeline’s lips curled into a pleased smile. You wretched girl, let’s see how you’ll steal from my daughter and me!
Madeline told Harris to leave and made a call, saying, ‘Find two people to keep an eye on Aurora. I want pictures of wherever she goes!”
Aurora, I’ll ruin you soon!
The next day, Aurora and Little Fish went to the hospital. They wandered around and accidentally bumped into someone.
Im sorry, I bumped into y
you. Are you okay?” Aurora apologized quickly.
“It’s fine.” A gentle male voice responded.
Aurora looked up to see a man in a white coat, wearing gold–rimmed glasses, his features soft and refined.
“Miss Aurora, it’s Dr. Faner Little Fish reminded her.
“Who?” Aurora was confused.
“Dr. Fane, the young professor from a renowned medical family. Don’t you know him? Little Fish, who often visited the hospital to care for her mother, had heard of him.
“Oh… I’ve never heard of lim… Aurora muttered.
Lysander Fane was left speechless.
—–
“Lysander, what are you doing? A familiar voice rang out, and Aurora turned to see Heath approaching.
Still dressed in a suit and leather shoes, his presence seemed to drop the temperature, his handsome features always set in a stern expression
“Nothing.” Lysander extended his hand to Aurora, “Hello, I’m Lysander Fane.”
Aurora shook his hand awkwardly, “Hello, Aurora.
remembered that the doctor Heath had called for her that day at the hotel was named Lysander. Was this the same person?

Chapter 21
*If there’s nothing else, we should get going,” Heath said coldly, not even glancing at Aurora, as if they were strangers.
“Okay.” Lysander turned to leave.
Aurora was annoyed. Why did Heath act as he pleased, coming to her house when he wanted, being friendly when he wanted, and ignoring her when he wanted?
“I have something to say!” Aurora declared loudly.
Lysander turned back to see Aurora clenching her fists, her big eyes filled with defiance, glaring at Heath’s retreating figure.
“Miss Aurora, what’s the matter?” Lysander asked.
“I’m sick!” Aurora blurted out.
“If you’re sick, go register and see a doctor. Lysander is busy,” Heath said coldly, glancing at her.
“Dr. Fane is a doctor too, and I want him to see me?” Aurora insisted.
Lysander couldn’t help but laugh at the scene.
One was stubbornly defiant, the other cold and unyielding. Did these two know each other?
Heath shot Lysander a look, as if warning him not to agree.
Lysander, curious, agreed anyway, “Miss Aurora, come with me.
Aurora huffed, shooting a triumphant look at Heath, as if to say, “You don’t know me? Then don’t stop me from seeing the doctor!”
Little Fish, frightened by Heath’s expression, quickly followed Aurora into Lysander’s office.
Heath’s face darkened, and he followed them in.
