Aurora left the hospital and took Little Fish to a nearby park. After sending Little Fish off to grab some snacks, she found a bench and pulled out her backup phone.
She had too many contacts on her main phone, so she’d gotten a new one on the side.
Dialing Jasper Bennett’s number, Aurora waited a long time before he finally answered. “Hello?”
“Jasper Bennett, it’s me,” Aurora said.
“Olivin?” Jasper sounded surprised. The voice was strikingly similar to Olivia’s.
“No, I’m not Olivia, Aurora frowned.
Aurora and Olivia had identical faces and nearly identical voices. She needed a good explanation to gain Jasper’s trust. After all, the concept of reincarnation was hard to believe.
“Who are you, then? And how do you know my contact info?” Jasper questioned.
Tm… Olivia’s sister, Aurora claimed.
“Olivia is an orphan. Where’d she get a sister from?” Jasper was skeptical.
“Six months ago, Olivia had a mission in China and met me. We’re twins. You’ll believe me when you see me,” Aurora continued, hoping to convince him
“Jasper Bennett, Olivia told me everything about her life and about you guys. I’m not here to harm you; I’m here to save you,” Aurora assured him.
“Where’s Olivia?” Jasper pressed.
“She’s dead, killed in Cambodia, Aurora said, finding it odd to announce her own death
“That’s impossible! Olivia was Abyss’s top assassin. Who could’ve killed her?” Jasper couldn’t believe it. Olivia was like family to them.
“Doesn’t Abyss have any info on Olivia’s whereabouts?” Aurora asked.
“Yes… Mr. Dominic Ashcrof said Olivia betrayed the organization and fled,” Jasper hesitated.
“Do you believe she betrayed you all?” Aurora questioned.
“No! I know what kind of person Olivia is. She was deeply devoted to Mr. Ashcroft. How could she betray us?” Jasper asserted.
Aurora gave a bitter smile. Her undying love had led to her legs being crippled, her face ruined, and her dying horribly in Cambodia, her body discarded like trash.
“Jasper Bennett, Olivia was killed by Isabella Whitmore, Aurora revealed.
“That Isabella Whitmore! I knew she was no good!” Jasper seemed to be holding back immense anger.
“What happened? What’s going on?” Aurora asked.
“Do you know Arno?” Jasper was concerned Aurora might not know the full situation.
“Yes,” Aurora confirmed.

*After Olivia went missing, the organization received news of her betrayal. Mr. Ashcroft forbade us from looking for her, saying he’d find her himself. But there was also evidence of Arno colluding with the enemy, so. so… Jasper stammered.
*So what? What did they do to Arno?” Aurora pressed, already sweating at the thought of what Isabella might have done.

“They executed him by firing squad,” Jasper said. “We tried to stop it, but it was no use.”
Isabella Whitmoret
She was really wiping out all of Olivia’s
ia’s trusted people, one by one!
Amo was so young, just a kid like Mike!
How could she?!
And Dominic Ashcroft, who said he’d find her himself, clearly didn’t trust her!
He just let Isabella deal with her people!
Aurora was trembling with rage and heartache. These were the people closest to her, and they were dying one by one because of her!
If she didn’t tear Isabella Whitmore to pieces in this lifetime, she’d have no courage to live another!
“Jasper Bennett, take everyone and leave Abyss. Don’t bother defending yourselves; Isabella won’t let you go. I’ll arrange a safe place for you in Seaview. Abyss can’t protect you anymore, Aurora decided on the spot.
She’d originally planned to wait until she was stronger to bring everyone over, but she couldn’t wait anymore. Isabella was already making her
move.
“I’ll discuss it with the others. Assassins are naturally suspicious; they won’t easily trust you,” Jasper said.
“Decide quickly. We can’t afford to lose anyone else, Aurora urged.
After Jasper agreed, they hung up.
