There was no fluctuation in Angela’s clear eyes.
Today was the second day of her and Braeden’s wedding anniversary, and also the real seventh anniversary between him and Valerie.
Her cell phone rang. It was Braeden calling.
An
Angela picked up.
Braeden’s angry voice was heard. “Angela, I order you to go back to the hospital. Valerie is having health problems now. You have to come to the hospital to take care of her in person.”
TYME
Angela stared at the screen and replied calmly, “I repaid her with my uterus, which you took, right? Now you want me to take care of her?”
“Angela, you have to understand. Valerie’s body has been severely damaged, and because of you, she lost the three–month–old baby in her belly. Do you know how a mother feels when she loses her child?”
Angela felt a sting in her heart, recalling those two miscarriages in her mind. When she came out of the hospital before, she had them placed in a freezer box. She then had someone send it to the restaurant where she and
Braeden celebrated their sixth wedding anniversary. As soon as Braeden went to that restaurant, the manager would hand him the gift for their seventh and final wedding anniversary.
“Braeden, I understand.”
Braeden said in a commanding tone, “Good to hear that you understand. Come and take care of Valerie. I will forgive you. You will still be by my

side. You and Valerie will be equals.”
It sounded like Braeden wanted both her and Valerie by his side.

All Angela could think of was the vows Braeden made when they got married.
“Angela, I love you, and I will only love you forever and ever.”
Those childhood friends of theirs cheered.
“Braeden, what happens if you wrong Angela?”
“Then I’ll jump off the top floor of the Hernandez Group.”
She could still recall the laughter and joy vividly.
She mustered her last bit of strength and added calmly.
“Braeden, we’re breaking up!”
There was no marriage between them. Their seven–year undocumented marriage ended with a breakup just like that.
After hanging up the phone, Angela found a cafe.
She called her lawyer while dealing with what needed to be done.
“Hello, Ms. Taylor, what can I do for you?”
“First, regarding the position of president that Malcolm is holding right now. All my shares are now for supporting his eldest brother. Second, regarding the Zeller Group’s embezzlement of funds. Get the word out. I’ll be suing Harvey Zeller and have him pay me back 100 million dollars. Third, Sir Hernandez of the Hernandez family murdered his own son and daughter–in–law. grandfather’s assets. Hand it over to the police.”

When the three sons of the Dixon family were fighting for power and supremacy back then, Sir Hernandez stopped Braeden from interfering. Braeden was sulking during that time and felt that he could not help his friend.

It was she who went to the Taylor family and begged her grandfather to help Malcolm in secret. That led to the result of Malcolm gaining control of the Dixon Group today.

Her grandfather had always known that Sir Hernandez had indirectly caused the deaths of his son and daughter–in–law.

It was because Sir Hernandez personally came to beg her grandfather to keep it a secret that her grandfather stayed silent. But until his death, her grandfather would never have thought that Sir Hernandez would hold their family responsible for this.
Braeden’s good friend, Harvey, belonged to the Zeller family, a household plagued by internal strife and corruption. Their company was running a 100 million dollar deficit, and six months ago, Hector had come to her personally to borrow money, begging her not to tell Braeden.
But what she got was from all these people, was their helping Braeden to hide his affair from her.
She didn’t need them to repay her with a thousandfold over for her
kindness.
But, she couldn’t tolerate them laughing at her behind her back and treated her like a fool.
She resolved to take back all the kindness she had shown those she had
helped, yet turned against and hurt her.

“Angela, you asked for the money too urgently. I can only raise half of it in an hour, and the other half will be transferred to your account within a
week.”
There was no fluctuation in Angela’s clear eyes.
Shane’s voice sounded grim. “Angela, have you really thought it through? If you sell the Hernandez Group’s shares to me, I will buy them over and make it impossible for Braeden to make a comeback.

Angela picked up the pen and signed the transfer agreement without hesitation.
After signing the resale contract, Shane personally drove her to the airport.
“Angela, can’t you… Stay behind?”
Angela turned around and looked at Shane.
She avoided the topic and said instead.
“Congratulations, Shane! From now on, among the top five wealthy families in Los Angeles, only the Xandros family will remain.”
She figured that all of them would pay the price for what they had done.
Angela turned and walked into the boarding gate, leaving without looking back.
She parted on bad terms with Braeden, and there was no turning back for either of them.
