Traveling around the world turned out to be a laborious, expensive, and time–consuming affair, even though Alyssa had tried to speed up the process. When she finally returned to Torrelma after visiting all the places she wanted to go, it was already two years later.
She also met a man named Theodora Rowe on the way and became traveling companions with him.
The two of them chatted happily and found out that their final destination was the same, so they happily decided to travel together. However, they didn’t expect that as soon as they landed in Torrelma, they encountered an unexpected guest.

His eyes were full of astonishment and disbelief, but turned into sorrow when he touched the coldness in her eyes, “Alyssa, I know I was wrong in the past, but I really know it now, and I haven’t agreed to divorce. How can you be with someone else?”
Theodora didn’t know much about Ciuniese, but she wasn’t completely ignorant either. So even though they argued in Ciuniese, he still clearly heard Alyssa’s “boyfriend.”
