No one knows my blood can cure anything.
I’m what they call a no–wolf. But by some freak chance, I survived swallowing the Bloodmoon King Flower–a once–in–a–century bloom–and it gave me a power no one else has: I can heal just about anything.
In my past life, after I healed Alpha Leo’s mangled legs in the Skyclaw Pack, they made me their Luna.
But to Leo, I was never his fated mate.
He didn’t choose me. He was forced into the bond. And while I became his Luna, Aria–his precious chosen one–journeyed to the frozen Northern Wastes, all for a rare herb.
When she found out we were bonded, she lost it, slipped, and fell off a cliff. No one ever found her.
A year later, Leo finally dragged her frozen corpse back home.
Then he turned to me–and demanded I bleed for her.
“If she’d made it back with the Moontear Moss, she’d be my Luna. You’re the reason she died!”
“Scarlett, you say your blood works miracles? Prove it. Bring her back!”
I sobbed,
sobbed, begging him to listen. “She’s been dead for a year, Leo. I can heal the sick–I can’t raise the dead.”
But he didn’t care. He watched me bleed out.
And that’s how I died.
Then I woke up–back to the day I was called to Skyclaw Pack to heal their Alpha.
I looked at him—still stuck in that damn wheelchair, grim and brooding and smiled coldly.
“Alpha, those legs? They’re a lost cause. Not even God could fix them.”
Leo’s head snapped up, eyes sharp and furious. His Alpha presence might’ve dimmed, but that fire was still there.
“Quack. Get the hell out.”
I arched a brow and turned to his mother, Mrs. Russell.
“You’ve heard the rumors, haven’t you? I’m the strongest healer in Shadowmoon Lands. If I say it’s hopeless, it is. You’d better start grooming your next Alpha.”
Before I could finish, Leo hurled a Fang Horn mug at me.
I didn’t flinch. Just stepped aside.
The thing shattered across the elk–hide rug, crimson brew splashing everywhere.
Mrs. Russell gasped, clearly caught off guard.
“I–I’m so sorry, Miss Scarlett. Leo’s just been… in a lot of pain.”
I shrugged. “Yeah. Pain will do that. Turns a man into a bitter little shell.”

Leo shook with rage, but I didn’t spare him another glance. I turned and walked right out of the Skyclaw Hall.
Mrs. Russell came chasing after me, voice low and desperate.
“Miss Scarlett, please there has to be a way. I’ve heard whispers… they say your blood can cure anything. Whatever you want, the Skyclaw Pack will pay
it.”
The truth is, Leould heal Leo’s legs. But after the
betrayal of my past life, I refuse to let my power save him again.
Last time, he blamed me for Aria’s death. Said she died trying to fetch the Moontear Moss that could’ve saved him.
If he’d used his damn brain, he’d know Moontear Moss is just a common herb. Sure, it only grows in the Northern Wastes, but it’s no miracle cure.
And once he found out it was my blood that fixed him? He drained me dry, trying to bring her back.

As I lay there, slipping in and out of consciousness, I heard the maids whispering in the halls–low voices they thought I couldn’t hear. Chapter1

That’s how I learned the truth.
Aria didn’t fall gathering herbs. She couldn’t stand the thought of me becoming Luna, so she ran off and became some rich guy’s mistress. When his mate found out, she shoved Aria off a cliff.
So no,
I’m done being the sacrificial lamb.
“I’m sorry,” I told Mrs. Russell. “But his legs are beyond help.”
From inside, Leo’s growl cut through the air.
“Mother, Aria’s already on her way to the Northern Wastes. She’ll bring back the Moontear Moss. My legs will be healed.”
“Miss Scarlett doesn’t need to get involved in my business.”
Mrs. Russell let out a long, tired sigh.
“Moontear Moss might help… but it won’t be enough to make you walk again. Scarlett’s your last shot.”
Still, Leo didn’t budge.
“I told you. Aria will fix everything.“,
I gave him one last look before nodding to Mrs. Russell and walking away.
As I stepped through the gates of Skyclaw Pack, a sleek black Rolls–Royce pulled up beside me. The door opened, and out stepped a graceful, regal woman dressed head to toe in designer.
She grabbed my hand.
“Miss Scarlett… please. My son needs you. You’re his only hope…”
