Chapter 9
I looked all over for Crystal and finally found her on top of a table douging with two guys. She was a good dancer. “CRYSTAL!” I shouted over the music. Her head snapped at me and she smiled and motioned for me to come join her. Oh what the heck, what bad can come from dancing? 1 jumped on the table and started dancing to the beat of the song. After a few minutes of just mucking around with Crystal and the guys a slow song came on. It was ‘Back at one” by Brian McKnight. Crystal jumped off the table with one of the guys and started slow dancing together. I turned around and the other guy we we’re dancing with held his hand out towards me. I took his hand without looking at his face so I wouldn’t show the blush that was forming on my cheeks. We stood next to Crystal and the guy and started dancing, I rested my head on the guys shoulders as my arms wrapped around his neck, and his hands rested on my waist. He started to softly sing the song as we swayed side to side. “One, you’re like a dream come true. Two, just want to be with you: Three, girl it’s plain to see that you’re the only one for me and four, repeat steps a through 3 Five, make you fall in love with me, if ever I believe my work is done, then I’ll start back at one. By this time he spam me around and did a dip and slowly brought me back up and I finally saw his face. What a coincidence! It’s the gay I was dancing with before. He looked straight in my eyes and I started to blush. But all of a sudden I felt a slight pain in my chest. It felt as if I’ve been stabbed over and over again with a silver blade in iny heart. I dropped my arms from around his neck and clutched my chest. I started to breathe in and out rapidly as the pain was getting worse. It was like the sliver blade that was stabbing me was trying to carve my heart out. I nearly collapsed on the floor but the gay caught me and called out for help as I began to scream and hold onto my chest rougher. Everyone looked and realised it was me and resumed dancing ignoring the guy shouting at them. Crystal pulled me up and told the guy to take me outside. The guy lifted me up bridal styles and took me outside while I began crying from the pain in my chest. Was Thaving a heart attack? Crystal told him to place me on the floor and he hesitated for a while but gave in to her demand. She told him to leave and he refused saying he will stay to make sure I’m alright. I screamed and started rolling around on the floor, trying to make the pain go away but it wouldn’L The pain got worse, it felt like a hundred knives shoved in and out of my heart and the pain was moving towards my head. I curled up in a ball and cried even more and shouted out in agony as the pain got worse. “Please you must leave Crystal begged the guy as tears formed in her eyes at the sight of me. The guy gave me one last look and even he had a tear in his eye before he turned around and reluctantly walked away.
Crystal bent down and held my hand. “Ellie the pain you’re feeling is the separation of your wolf with Javier’s” she said sadly.
“What d–do you mean sep–separation? He’s my my other hal–half!” I managed to say through the pain.
“Well it sperms” she hesitated before she spoke again. “He is completing the mating with another shewolf that is obviously not un she said loolang down at the ground.
“WHAT!” I screamed. “he’s marking h–hern–nn–now?” I said shocked and all of a sudden the pain vanished.
“Yes, when your mate marks another the separates his wolf from yours combing his to the other she wolf he marked, leaving your wolf in depression and heart break. When it’s complete you won’t feel any more pain, but you will feel whenever he makes love to anyone since he is rightfully yours and the bond between you can never really be broken.” She said sadly,
“Crystal” I said loolding at her with tears in my eyes. “The pain has gone I said hugging my lees to my chest while sobbing Crystal just came and hugged me and apologised over and over again. He marked her, be actually marked her. He really doesn’t want me Crystal.” I said crying
Crystal hugged me tighter then pulled out and looked at me. “Ellie, he can still mark you since you are his true mate. A true mates mark is stronger than just a normal mark. You can still get him back Ellie, you just–I didn’t let her finish.
“Crystal, I don’t want him back, all he causes me is heart break, I don’t know why I even tried in the first place all he is, is a jerk. I shouldn’t even be Wasting my tears on him, but here I am crying my eyes out. Look at me I’m a mess no wonder he doesn’t want me.” I said sighing
“Ellie, you’re not a mess, you’re beautiful inside and out and it’s his loss and sooner or later he will realise that. So all you should do is walk in there with abage smile, like nothing Lappened and welcome his mate showing him that he isn’t affecting you like this.” She said patting me on the back
“You know you’re right Crystal, that is exactly what I’m going to do… first thing tomorrow morning” I said as I got up and fixed my dress and patted my hair down so it looked better than it does now. I wiped the smudged makeup off my face and breathed in before walking back inside.
When I walked in I just happened to bump into the one person I so badly wanted to ignore. Isn’t that just great!?
