Looking closely, we saw Jake pinned against the wall by three zombies, being torn apart.
His right arm had already been ripped off, blood gushing out like a fountain.
Seeing us appear, a glimmer of hope suddenly flashed in Jake’s eyes.
“Alex! Save me!”
He struggled desperately to reach out his remaining left hand towards us, his nails leaving bloody scratches on the ground.
I stopped in my tracks, just coldly watching him struggle in his death throes.
Jake’s abdomen had been torn open, his intestines spilling out, yet he was still clinging to life.
The deputy commander gritted his teeth, his gun already aimed at Jake’s head.
“You beast! I’ll f*cking kill you with one shot!”
Just as he was about to pull the trigger, I raised my hand to stop him.
“Don’t do that…”
Hearing this, the deputy looked at me in shock:
“Alex, have you forgotten how this traitor treated us? Don’t tell me you still want to spare his miserable life?”
I immediately waved my hand with a smile.
“If you shoot him, wouldn’t that be giving him a quick death? I think… letting him taste what it’s like to be torn apart alive is the fate a traitor deserves!”
Hearing this, my teammates all expressed their agreement.

escaped along the safest route, you still encountered zombies.”

But in the next second, more zombies surged out from the darkness, engulfing him like a tidal wave.
Piercing screams echoed through the corridor, accompanied by the sound of flesh being torn apart.
Soon, everything fell silent again.
